About this story

This film illustrates a proposed Travel Halo AI handling routine coordination under agreed rules. Simon and PACRIM Travel are based on a one-person business profile; the trip, actions and outcomes are representative. It does not send messages, book travel or move money. Local model deployment and supplier integrations are proposed. The traveller authorizes commitments and Simon handles exceptions.

How the Halo AI uses the paperwork

Intelligent document processing (IDP) reads supplier PDFs, booking confirmations and invoices into fields linked to their original pages. The Halo AI checks these against the trip records, flags discrepancies and carries on with permitted routine work. Booking and payment systems retain authority over commitments and balances.

The proposed operating boundary

The business controls its model, documents and case memory. Approved external systems receive only the information needed for their part of the work. This boundary must be verified in an actual deployment.

The applications stay in use

Simon keeps his booking, itinerary and accounting stack. The Halo AI assists with searches, authorized bookings and adjustments through those tools, fills in the back-office work and brings exceptions to Simon. Provider confirmations and native records establish the actual result.

Existing applications may be local or externally hosted. The intended private model and document knowledge stay under the business’s control; approved connections share only the information needed for the work.
