THE STORY & THE WORKING DEMO
Mara and Harbour & Cedar are fictional. The animation illustrates the intended workflow; it does not execute reviews or change business records.
Intelligent document processing (IDP) turns the certificate into fields Mara can check against the original PDF. Accepted fields link the certificate to business records and give her Halo AI a source it can cite. Accepting the transcription does not release the lot for sale.
The private VM has prepared document extraction, source-checked transcription reviews, linked business records, cited answers from local rules, Medusa records and a separate working Compliance Halo AI quality-review workflow.
This illustrated scenario assumes the capsules are a natural health product for sale in Canada. Product licensing and applicable importer/site licensing must be verified. Separately, a qualified quality assurance person must approve each lot before it becomes available for sale. Entering a lot in Compliance Halo AI is an internal traceability record; it is not Health Canada registration or approval of that batch.
The Halo AI may prepare required regulatory application materials for an authorised person to review and submit. A submission receipt is not an approval. It does not automatically submit every lot to Health Canada, certify GMP compliance or establish that the real Golden Cordyceps product is licensed.
Sources: Health Canada: quality assurance and lot release; product licensing; site licensing.
Foxit document processing, RiverSoft knowledge and agent components, and a qualified local language model. Fully local model processing and offline operation still need deployment testing. Licensing verification, regulatory submission preparation and connecting this lot’s release to Medusa fulfilment, shipment and retailer notifications are illustrated future capabilities. The current synthetic demo keeps its quality-review and commerce actions separate.
Mara’s business Halo AI coordinates commerce and customer work. The Compliance Halo AI is a specialist Halo AI in the same ecosystem: it checks evidence, maintains the lot-review context and prepares work for the qualified quality assurance person. The human reviewer retains release authority. The current implementation provides the underlying quality workflow; specialist language-model assistance remains planned.
Medusa remains Mara’s commerce platform; Compliance Halo AI records quality decisions; her email handles correspondence. The Halo AI combines permitted records and IDP evidence to help her act. Quality release and commerce fulfilment remain separate checks.
Existing applications may be local or externally hosted. The intended private model and document knowledge stay under the business’s control; approved connections share only the information needed for the work.
